Eulogy Postponed

And the miracle of today

HI! I’m Sarah. I’m a fanatical optimist, pervasively cheery and just plain stubborn. Oh, and pretty goofy, too. And this is my blog!

My blog carries the intention of sharing today and embracing the world. Sharing today as I attempt to embrace the world.

My goal is to push myself beyond, live life to the fullest, take action instead of just talking about acting. Instead of living to sustain, I would like to change, improve, stimulate and to serve.  I want to follow my heart out into that big uncomfortable world we live in, meet some fellow humans and share their stories. And I hope doing so might maybe possibly inspire someone else.

I know I’m entirely delusional, but I truly do believe that if you help one person, you are changing the world. And if each and every one of us is serving others, that means we are all being served as well, right? Is that impossible? Can you imagine what you can do? Or what could be done for you? (I can offer hugs, but someone else is bound to have cookies! Or beer! Or both!!! )

Come play with me!

Love is the only rational act.

Sarah is an amazing, delightful person that I’m honored to call daughter as well. She’s my inspiration to try harder to go beyond the usual and question things a bit before just doing things because that’s how it’s been done. She’s always surprising me and helping me expand outside my comfort zone. She’s made me a better person. Love you! Mom.

Sarah, you and this blog are ridiculously amazing. I agree with the Ethiopians you met in Addis – you have to go back someday! :) Not only are you having such incredible experiences, but your beautiful writing style allows everyone who reads this to really enter into those experiences with you. I’m honored to be able to call you friend and I can’t wait to read more!

  4. GRYLLZS! Sending you love from all the way over here in the W.Valley. I have been reading your posts; color me INSPIRED! -I am not sure what color that would be but I am pretty sure it would be a great mix of a bright bouquet. Is there a way to donate? I looked over your blog but couldn’t find anything that says ‘donate’; but maybe thats just my attention span? I have to agree with and share Christine’s sentiment “I am honored to be able to call you friend”. You are a humble badass; and thats the coolest kind! Alright…. J-Dawg out!

    • I can not wait to see what you look like Inspired! No donate button. That sounds like lots of work for me! There will be significant hat passing when I get home!

  5. Sarah can u contact me,
I have something to ask you about gitenges,…..

Leave some love
